TASI falls 1.1% to 11,163 points, records lowest close in 7 months
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1.1%, or 127 points, to 11,163 points today, July 14, recording the lowest close since December 2021.
Total turnover reached SAR 4.3 billion.
The decline coincides with the drop in global markets as oil prices fell below $100 a barrel.
The index has gradually declined since May, bringing its losses to about 2,650 points.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank fell 1% to SAR 36.25 and SAR 80.30, respectively.
Saudi National Bank closed at SAR 65.70 (-3%) after the end of the eligibility for cash dividends.
Alinma Bank, SABIC, SABIC Agri-Nutrients, Maaden, Jabal Omar, Tasnee, and Petro Rabigh edged down between 1% and 4%.
Sipchem fell 8% to SAR 39.30 amid trading of about 6.5 million shares.
