TASI rises 1.2% to cross 12,300 points, turnover at SAR 7.6 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.2%, or 140 points, higher at 12,339 points today, Aug.1, recording the highest close in a month and a half.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 7.6 billion.
The index rose for the fifth consecutive session, gaining 465 points.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank rose by less than 1%, while SABIC gained more than 1% to SAR 102.
Saudi Kayan, Sipchem, Banque Saudi Fransi, Chemanol and Jarir climbed between 3% and 5%.
Bahri edged up more than 2% to SAR 24.48 after announcing the results of the second quarter.
Aslak closed 3% higher at SAR 31.85.

On the other hand, Arab Sea was the top decliner, closing at SAR 80.
