Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) edged up six points to close at 12,560 points today, Aug. 22.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.8 billion.
Al Rajhi Bank rose 1% to SAR 91.80.
Bank Albilad, Maaden, Sipchem, Mobily, Dar Al Arkan, and Savola ended the session today with gains between 1% and 4%.
SADAFCO was the highest gainer as it went limit up to SAR 196 – recording its highest close since listing – with trading volume of about 400,000 shares.
Nahdi recorded the highest closing since listing at SAR 199.60 (+4%).

On the other hand, Saudi Aramco closed at SAR 38.75 (-1%), after the end of the eligibility for cash dividends of SAR 0.32/share for Q2 2022.
Saudi Electricity decreased by 2% to SAR 26.10. The company earlier announced Q2 2022 net profits of SAR 3.6 billion, an increase of 8% compared to the same period last year.
Shares of Saudi Ground Services, Salama and Buruj lost between 4% and 7%, following the announcement of Q2 2022 financial results.
