TASI falls 1.6% to below 11,900 points, turnover at SAR 5.5 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.6%, or 191 points, lower at 11,893 points today, Sept. 14.
Total turnover reached SAR 5.5 billion.
The decline coincides with the fall of global markets, especially the US, after a hotter-than-expected inflation report.
Market Index
Most of the shares declined, led by Al Rajhi Bank falling 2% to SAR 88.50.
Saudi National Bank, SABIC, ACWA Power, Riyadh Bank, SABB, Maaden, Alinma Bank, SABIC Agri-Nutrients, Bank Albilad and Almarai lost between 1% and 3%.
Banque Saudi Fransi was the top decliner, down 5% to SAR 47.
BinDawood Holding hit its lowest level since listing at SAR 76.20(-2%).
