TASI closes 0.4% up above 12,000 points, traded value at SAR 8B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) eked out a small gain of 0.4%, or 42 points, to end at 12,023 points today, Aug. 19.
Total traded value reached about SAR 8 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank jumped 1% to SAR 84.20after around 7.5 million shares were traded at over SAR 600 million.
Saudi Re, Saudi Chemical, Jamjoom Pharma and Retal hit their highest levels since debut.
Cenomi Retail climbed 2% to SAR 11.20. The company announced today starting talks with a major fashion retailer for a potential deal.
The stock advanced over 40% since early August.
Buruj Insurance and Red Sea were the top risers, gaining 10% each.
