TASI falls 0.8% to 12,272 points, total turnover at SAR 6.2B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.8%, or 103 points, lower at 12,272 points today, Sept. 29.
Total turnover reached about SAR 6.2 billion.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank fell to SAR 27.25 (-1%) and SAR 88.10 (-2%), respectively.
 
Saudi National Bank, SAB, Riyad Bank, SABIC, Alinma Bank and Almarai declined between 1% and 3%.
 
Savola fell 3% to SAR 28.05, with trading exceeding 3.5 million shares. The company’s board of directors recommended capital reduction and in-kind distribution of its entire 345.22 million shares in Almarai to eligible shareholders.
 
Dallah was the top decliner, falling 5%.
