TASI rises 1% to 12,027 points, total turnover at SAR 8.2B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1%, or 114 points, higher at 12,027 points today, Oct. 8.
Total turnover reached about SAR 8.2 billion.

Market Index

Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi National Bank and ACWA Power rose by 2% to 3%.
eXtra gained by 3% to SAR 93.90 after announcing Q3 2024 financial results. 
 
The newly-listed Almajed Oud was the top gainer, rising by 30% to SAR 158.80, with about 2.6 million shares worth nearly SAR 410 million changing hands.
Al-Baha closed at SAR 0.36 (+9%). The stock continued its 12th consecutive rise, gaining nearly 125%.

Meanwhile, Saudi Fisheries, Kingdom Holding, Rasan, First Mills, Modern Mills, Naseej, and Salama declined between 3% and 4%.
Arabian Mills fell on its debut on Tadawul, closing less than 1% to SAR 65.80 (-SAR 0.20 compared to the listing price). Nearly 14 million shares worth almost SAR 1 billion were traded.
