Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 1.1%, or 125 points, to close at 12,008 points today, Oct. 21. Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.8 billion.
Blue chip lender Al Rajhi Bank soared 3% to close at SAR 85.
Shares of Maaden, Alinma Bank, Bank Albilad, SAB, SRMG, BSF, Batic, and SPIMACO ended the session today with increases ranging between 2% and 4%.
Riyad Bank shares rose by more than 2% to SAR 24.84, after announcing Q3 2024 financial results.
Al-Baha topped the gainers as it rose 8% to SAR 0.27, amid trading exceeding 900 million shares, with a value of SAR 240 million.
Meanwhile, Care slumped 3% to SAR 184 after it reported a year-on-year profit decline of 18% in Q3 2024.
MBC closed at SAR 43 (-3%), amid trading of about 1.4 million shares.
