TASI falls 0.2% to 10,434 pts, turnover at SAR 2.8B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.2%, or 19 points, lower at 10,434 points today, Sept. 14.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 2.8 billion.
The benchmark opened at 10,437 points, touching a high of 10,452 points and slipping to a low of 10,371 points during the session.
The index has shed more than 1,600 points year to date, down 13.3% from last year’s close.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank fell by less than 1% to SAR 92.95.
ACWA Power, Saudi National Bank, Petro Rabigh, ADES, SABIC, Riyadh Cables, Dar Al Arkan, Riyadh Development, SRMG, and Yansab declined between 1% and 3%.
Al Akaria fell by 2% after the developer announced its land area liable to white land taxes in Riyadh.
Al Majdiah, the newly-listed stock, was the top decliner, falling more than 8% to SAR 11.64. Approximately 14.6 million shares, valued at over SAR 170 million, changed hands.

Meanwhile, Maaden rose by 3% to SAR 55.95.
Almajed Oud was the top gainer, rising 10% to SAR 120.20. More than 250,000 shares were traded.
