Saudi Arabia has deposited SAR 2.6 billion in accounts of eligible beneficiaries in September.
Total compensation for the previous installment paid retroactively stood at SAR 10.3 million.
The 22nd installment was paid in September to 12.5 million beneficiaries, representing 83 percent of eligible households and individuals.
A total of 44 percent of the program’s beneficiaries received full benefits with average support of SAR 1,049 per household, Sultan Al-Qahtani, the program spokesperson said.
The households benefiting from the program exceeded 2.2 million, while the number of dependents topped 8.7 million.
Eligible independent individuals reached over 1.5 million in the same month, he added.
The total support value for beneficiaries of "Citizen Account" in the 22 payments reached SAR 52.3 billion with SAR 380.2 million in retroactive amounts, according to data compiled by Argaam.
