Sipchem sees 40% feedstock shortage

Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) said in a bourse statement that it is seeing a nearly 40 percent shortage in feedstock supplies as today of today Sep. 15, 2019.
Sipchem will eventually disclose the relevant financial impact, the statement said.
Updates will be disclosed later, in line with related regulations, it further stated.
Drone attacks sparked fires at two Saudi Aramco oil facilities in Abqaiq and Hijrat Khurais at 4am on Saturday, Sept. 14, Argaam reported.

A temporary production halt has resulted from the drone attacks, Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said in a statement today.
