United Electronics Co.’s (eXtra) board of directors recommended a 20% capital hike to SAR 600 million from SAR 500 million through the issue of bonus shares, during the extraordinary general assembly (EGA) held on Thursday March 5.
The capital hike aims to support the company’s financial position, according to a bourse statement on Sunday.
The process is pending approval from the general assembly and regulator.
In addition, eXtra recommended a 12.5% cash dividend for the second half of 2019, at SAR 1.25 per share, amounting to SAR 62.5 million.
