Saudi Arabia records 3,183 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 3,183 to 223,327 as of Thursday, July 9, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 3,046, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 161,096, representing 72% of total registered cases.

 

Forty-one new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,100.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 60,131 cases, of which 2,225 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 364 cases were reported in Riyadh, followed by Dammam (247), Jeddah (246), Al Hufof (196), and Taif (181).

 

A total of 53,153 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 2.12 million.
