Almarai Co. announced, on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, the resignation of board member, Anees Ahmed Moumina (non-executive), due to personal reasons.

 

The resignation was submitted on Dec. 31, 2020, and will be effective today, Jan. 3, 2021, the company added in a bourse statement.

 

Meanwhile, the board appointed Waleed Khalid Fatani, the current CEO of Savola Group, as a non-executive member of the board of directors from Jan. 1, 2021, until the end of the current term on Aug. 6, 2022.

 

The appointment is pending approval by the company’s general assembly.
