Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SISCO) is currently assessing diverse expansion projects in the ports, logistics, and water solutions sectors inside and outside the Kingdom, SISCO’s chief executive officer Mohammed Al-Mudarres told Argaam.

The projects are part of the company’s new strategy for the next five years, which is currently being studied.

The study will be completed by mid-2021, and will identify all expected possibilities for expansion, investment, and development of the organizational structure in a way that serves the shareholders and the company in the short and long terms, Al-Mudarres said.

The company’s total number of containers handled rose by 30% year-on-year (YoY) in 2020.

SISCO’s CEO expects the commercial traffic volume in the Kingdom's ports to boom, coinciding with the new tariff for port services announced by Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) at the beginning of 2021.
