Saudi Arabia records 1,017 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,017 COVID-19 cases today, June 13, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 465,797, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,133, raising the total number of recovered cases to 448,093 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,132, of which 1,575 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 19 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,572.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 344, followed by Riyadh (198), Eastern Province (155), Asir (84), Madinah (68) and Jazan (60).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 67,550 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 20.36 million.

 

Almost 15.74 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
