Tadawul trading screen
Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) rose 5.8% or 662 points between Eid al-Adha holidays of 2021/2022.
The stock closed the last session before Eid al-Adha holiday at 11,417 points, compared with 10,795 points in the same period a year earlier.
The most important events during this period included lifting the COVID-19 precautionary measures and rise of oil prices to a record level.
In addition, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) raised its reverse repo rate to 175 basis points (bps) and the repo rate to 225 bps.
The index has advanced almost 1.2% or 139 points since the beginning of 2022 and until Eid al-Adha holiday.

Top Gainers
Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) topped the 31 gainers between Eid al-Adha holidays, leaping 60%. It was followed by Alinma Bank with a rise of 56%.
Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden), Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB), Bank Albilad, Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem), Saudi British Bank (SABB) and Arab National Bank (ANB) rose by 36-52%.

Performance of Blue Chips
The blue chips showed varied performance, as Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank rose by 20% and 21%, respectively, while Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) and stc fell by 18 and 22%, respectively.
Alinma Bank was the best performer, rising 56%, while Jabal Omar Development Co. was the biggest decliner, falling 29%.
