Chemanol says CEO steps down

Methanol Chemicals Co.’s (Chemanol) board of directors accepted today, Aug. 31, the resignation of CEO Ali Al-Asiri, with immediate effect, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The resignation was tendered on Aug. 25 due to personal reasons.

 

Updates on the appointment of a new CEO will be given in due course, Chemanol added.

 

Al-Asiri has served as the company’s CEO since Sept. 1, 2019, according to Argaam data.
