Saudi Cabinet approves bearing costs of Hayya card e-services

Cabinet meeting

The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, approved the state to incur the costs of e-services — related to the e-visas service platform at the Ministry of Interior — for issuing an entry visa to the Kingdom for holders of Hayya card of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs earlier announced that the Kingdom will allow Hayya card holders to spend up to 60 days in the country, according to data available with Argaam.

The ministry added that it will accept the application for an entry visa into the Kingdom, provided that card holders are permitted to enter the Kingdom 10 days before the start of the World Cup after obtaining an electronic visa through the Unified National Platform for Visas.

In addition, visa holders will be entitled to enter and leave the Kingdom several times during the validity period of the visa. However, it is not required to have pre-entry to Qatar before arrival in the Kingdom. Medical insurance is required before coming over to Saudi Arabia.
