Oil tanks
US crude oil inventories declined in the week ended Sept. 15. Gasoline inventories and distillate stocks also declined during the same period.
Crude oil fell 2.14 million barrels last week, compared to expectations of a decline by 2.2 million barrels, data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) showed.
US gasoline inventories dropped by 800,000 barrels, while distillate stocks decreased by 2.9 million barrels.
