Al Sagr names Saud Al-Arifi as Chairman, Naif Alarfaj as Vice Chairman

Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors appointed today, Dec. 24, Saud Al-Arifi as Chairman and Naif Alarfaj as Vice Chairman, according to a Tadawul statement.

 

The new chairman will lead the executive committee, which includes Abdel Mohsen Jaber, Sultan Al-Suwaidi, and Abdullah Al-Hindi as non-executive members and Yasser Al-Harbi as the only executive member.

 

Meanwhile, Yasser Al-Harbi will lead the investment committee, which includes Abdel Mohsen Jaber, Mohamed Alnuaim, and Ahmed Albaqshi. The risk committee, which includes Sultan Al-Suwaidi and Saud Al-Arifi, will be chaired by Naif Alarfaj, the statement added.

 

The company highlighted that these appointments are for the term starting Nov. 23, 2023, and ending Nov. 22, 2026, following approval from the Insurance Authority on Dec. 24, 2023.
