Chemanol receives methane price revision notice from Aramco

Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol) announced receiving an official notice from Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) on an increase in methane feedstock prices as of Jan. 1, 2025, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The price hike will increase the cost of production by 2.2% of the total annual cost, while the relevant financial impact will appear as of Q1 2025.
