The Securities Depository Centre (Edaa) publishes the Draft Amendments to the Glossary of Defined Terms Used in the Exchange Rules, the Securities Depository Centre Rules and Procedures for public opinions.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the center said that the draft amendments aim to enhance the capital market by regulating and introducing Omnibus Accounts for shares and investment traded funds units for asset managers, while also clarifying the operational mechanisms for such accounts.

Edaa also noted that it would be pleased to receive feedback and observations no later than April 17, 2025, indicating that all opinions and observations shall be considered and assessed during the process of issuing the final versions of the documents.
