Umm Al-Qura Cement board proposes dividend freeze for 2024

Umm Al-Qura Cement Co.’s board of directors recommended withholding dividends for 2024, the company said in a statement to Tadawul today, May 8.

The move aims to support and strengthen the company’s financial position.

 

The recommendation is pending shareholders' voting during the upcoming general assembly, the date of which will be set after obtaining regulatory approvals.

 

According to data available with Argaam, the company’s last dividend distribution to shareholders was at 2.5%, or SAR 0.25 per share, for H2 2021.
