Organizers of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics announced on Wednesday that Uber will serve as the official ride-sharing and on-demand delivery partner for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as for Team USA.
Under the partnership, Uber will use its transport platform to design, implement, and optimize ride-sharing operations across the Los Angeles area.
The company will offer transport options including cars and motorcycles to help athletes, officials and spectators navigate the city during the Games.
Uber Eats, the company’s food delivery arm, will provide on-demand meal delivery services for athletes in the Olympic and Paralympic Village, with plans to offer mobile ordering for spectators at select venues.
