Saudia Group announced today, July 31, the delivery of a new Airbus A321neo aircraft.

The airline plans to expand its fleet by adding 116 aircraft to the current total of 194, it said in a post on its social messaging platform X.

The group aims to introduce one aircraft per month in 2026, and more than one per month in the following years.

According to data available with Argaam, Saudia signed an agreement with Airbus last year to purchase 105 aircraft, including 54 A321neo jets. The airline’s long-term goals include expanding its network to 250 destinations, transporting 330 million passengers, and attracting 150 million tourists.

In April, the airline signed a separate deal with Airbus to acquire 20 new wide-body A330neo aircraft. The agreement includes 10 confirmed aircraft for flyadeal, the group’s low-cost carrier.
