Amana Insurance shareholders OK related party deal

Amana Cooperative Insurance Co.’s shareholders approved related-party transactions during their ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on Sept. 16.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said shareholders approved the business and contracts concluded between the company and Al Saif Group of Companies, in which board member Naif Al Sudairy has an indirect interest.

 

These contracts are multi-year insurance policies and claims paid without any special conditions or benefits. The transaction value for the previous year, 2024, was SAR 173,037.
