The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced the delisting of Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co.’s shares from the Main Market (TASI) at the end of trading on Oct. 27.
In a separate statement, the Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) said it implemented the capital hike of the Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (MEDGULF), resulting from its merger with Buruj through a securities exchange offer.
The increase was reflected in eligible shareholders’ portfolios today, Oct. 28.
According to data available on Argaam, the extraordinary general meetings (EGMs) of both Buruj and MEDGULF recently approved the merger deal between the two companies.
Tadawul suspended trading of Buruj shares from Oct. 26, 2025, to begin delisting procedures.
