High cost of living tops global concerns in 2025: FFI

The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute, in partnership with Ipsos, unveiled the results of the Global Priorities Compass 2025 survey, which tracks citizens' hopes, fears, and priorities worldwide.

 

The findings show that the high cost of living has become the top global concern, cited by 50% of respondents, a 10-point increase over the past 12 months.

 

Unemployment ranked second, followed by poverty and social inequality, crime and delinquency, and the social protection system.

 

The survey covered over 60,000 people across 32 countries, representing 66% of the world’s population.
