UCA names Marwan Alhazmi as Acting CEO

United Cooperative Assurance Co.'s (UCA) board of directors decided, on Dec. 2, to appoint Marwan Alhazmi as Acting CEO, after obtaining the Insurance Authority’s no objection on Dec. 6.
 

In a statement to Tadawul, the insurer said Alhazmi will commence work from today, Dec. 16.
 

Alhazmi has more than 30 years of professional experience in business planning, sales and marketing management in the insurance sector, in addition to outstanding academic and professional qualifications.

 

In addition to his practical experience in a number of insurance companies in the Kingdom, Alhazmi obtained an MBA in Marketing and Advanced Marketing Strategies, University of Leicester - UK, along with a Bachelor of Political Science, King Abdulaziz University.

 

In November, UCA board of directors approved the resignation of CEO Mohammed Basrawi who decided to retire, effective from Nov. 4, according to Argaam data.
