8 new brands join Diriyah Square

Diriyah Co. has announced the addition of eight new global and local brands to Diriyah Square, namely adidas, Spinneys, Seven Luxury Wellness, OliOli, Al-Dawaa Pharmacy, Alo Yoga, On Running, and Fakeeh Clinic.

In a statement released today, Jan. 4, the company explained that these new brands will cover more than 15,000 square meters of commercial and service space. This is part of a massive Diriyah Square project designed to house over 400 retail stores and restaurants, following previous agreements with brands such as VOX Cinemas.

The company previously awarded a $600 million (SAR 2.25 billion) contract to Salini Saudi Arabia (a subsidiary of the Webuild Group) to execute the development of Diriyah Square, which comprises 73 buildings and approximately 400 commercial and service units.

The Diriyah project is expected to contribute almost SAR 70 billion to the Kingdom’s GDP, create around 180,000 jobs, accommodate nearly 100,000 residents, and attract roughly 50 million visits annually.

According to Argaam data, the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) began the first phase of the SAR 75 billion Diriyah restoration and development project in June 2020. The master plan spans seven square kilometers and features a diverse array of tourism, entertainment, and lifestyle destinations.
