Emaar Middle East, a subsidiary of Dubai-listed Emaar Properties, has awarded the construction contract for its new Emaar Residences project in Jeddah Gate to Arabian Construction Co. (ACC).
The Emaar Residences project features three high-rise towers with 283 homes, the developer said in a statement. Drilling work for the project, which was launched late last year, has started.
The company didn’t give a value for the contract.
Emaar Middle East has already handed over homes in Abraj Al Hilal 1 in the 413,000 sqm Jeddah Gate development, while residences in Abraj Al Hilal 2 are nearing completion.
The developer is also currently building Emaar Square, a commercial precinct in Jeddah Gate, with ACC as the construction contractor. The project is scheduled for handover later this year.
