Dubai’s Emaar seeks contractors for new residential tower

Emaar Properties has invited contractors to express interest in building a new residential tower in Dubai’s downtown district, Middle East Economic Digest (MEED) reported on Tuesday.

 

The Address Residences Dubai Opera will be built next to Emaar’s currently under-construction opera house, located near Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain.

 

The area surrounding Dubai Opera has become a key focus for the Dubai-listed developer. Earlier this year, Emaar awarded Athens-based Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) a AED 500 million contract to build the Opera Grand Tower.

 

CCC is also working on building the opera house, which is set to be finished in August.
