Saudi TASI drops amid muted trading
The Saudi Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) bucked its uptrend on Tuesday, closing 0.2 percent lower at 6,190, hurt by weak performance of most stocks. The value of traded shares stood at SAR 2.3 billion.

In the banking sector, heavyweight Al Rajhi Bank fell 0.5 percent to SAR 57.25.
Elsewhere, Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development, Mobily, Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG), Jarir Marketing Co. and National Petrochemical Co. (Petrochem) saw declines between 1 percent and 2 percent.

Meanwhile, petrochemical giant SABIC ended 0.56 percent up at SAR 85.
Maaden added 1 percent to SAR 35.10, as the company announced the commencement of trial operations at the ammonia plant of Maaden Waad Al-Shamal Phosphate Co.
Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance was the best performer, jumping 5 percent to SAR 10.20.
MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance was the biggest drag, sinking 3.95 percent to SAR 18.50.
