Saudi Arabia shot down two ballistic missiles fired by Houthi militias from inside Yemeni territory towards Najran on Sunday night, according to a statement published by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The two missiles deliberately targeted civilian and populated areas, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the Arab coalition forces, said.
The Saudi Royal Air Defense forces were able to intercept all of them and as a result scattered fragments of missile fell on residential neighborhoods and no injuries or damage were recorded so far, he added.
