Eastern Province Cement Co. reported a net profit of SAR 248 million in 2024, a 27% increase from SAR 196 million in 2023.

This was spurred by higher cement volumes and sales in addition to the quantities of precast sales.

 

The company also trimmed losses from the an associate company and cited lower other expenses, realized gains from the sale of investments at fair value through profit or loss and a decline in Zakat expenses.

Sequentially, the bottom line surged 89.5% from SAR 41.15 million in Q3 2024.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, stood at SAR 2.29 billion by Dec. 31, 2024, compared to SAR 2.38 billion a year earlier.
