TASI maintains rally as most stocks gain
Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) ended Sunday's session on a firm note, advancing 1.9 percent, or 148 points, at 7,973. The total value of traded shares surged to SAR 4.2 billion.
The strong gains were driven by higher crude prices, which came in above $72 per barrel – the highest level in over three years, amid mitigated geopolitical concerns about a potential war with Russia, following the US strike on Syria.
Market Index
Most stocks headed north, led by blue chips SABIC and Al Rajhi Bank, which rose 2 percent to SAR 118.80 and SAR 78.70, respectively.
Shares of Tasnee, Yansab, Jarir Marketing, Mobily, Alinma Bank, Saudi Kayan, Dar Al-Arkan, Almarai and Savola Group jumped between 2 percent and 5 percent.

MedGulf shares soared 6 percent to SAR 26.90, as the stock resumed trading following the announcement of 2017 financial statements.
Astra Industrial, Nama Chemicals and Al Sorayai Trading also rose their daily limit today.
