TASI rises more than 250 points to 11,555, turnover at SAR 5.9 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 2.3%, or 263 points, to close at 11,555 points today, July 18.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.9 billion.
The index has increased for the second consecutive session by nearly 400 points.
The benchmark rise follows the oil price surge as Brent crude closed in at $104 per barrel.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank rose to SAR 38.50 (+4%) and SAR 83 (+2%), respectively.
Saudi National Bank, Alinma Bank, SABIC, Riyad Bank, Bank Albilad, ACWA Power, Banque Saudi Fransi and Tasnee increased between 2% and 5%.
Maaden and Sipchem were top gainers, rising to SAR 50.70 and SAR 43.75, respectively.
Chemanol and eXtra surged to SAR 32.70 (+8%) and SAR 112 (+5%) after the announcement of Q2 2022 results.
Company Prices
Meanwhile, Jarir, Al Othaim Markets, Savola, Almarai and Fitaihi declined by 1% to 4%.
AICC went limit down to close at SAR 15.96 amid trading of 1.8 million shares.
