TASI drops more than 300 points to 10,419, records lowest close in 18 months
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 2.8%, or 305 points, lower at 10,419 points today, Dec. 5, recording the lowest close in a year and a half.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.1 billion.
The index has lost more than 3,500 points since May 2022.
Market Index
Majority of the stocks were down, led by Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi Aramco closing at SAR 77 (-4%) and SAR 32.30 (-2%).
Saudi National Bank, SABB, Riyad Bank, SABIC, Banque Saudi Fransi, Etihad Etisalat and Arab National Bank declined between 2% and 6%.
Saudi Enaya was the top decliner.
