TASI gains 1.3% to 10,949, turnover at SAR 6.7 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.3%, or 142 points, higher at 10,949 points today, April 4, recording the highest close since November 2022.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.7 billion.
The index has risen since mid-March, gaining nearly 1,000 points.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank rose to close at SAR 75.70 (+2%) and SAR 49.30 (+3%), respectively.
Aramco closed at SAR 32.80 (+1%).
Dar Al Arkan, Zain KSA, Petro Rabigh, solutions, Banque Saudi Fransi, BinDawood, eXtra, Maaden, Saudi Kayan, and Emaar EC increased between 3% and 6%.
Tihama, Al-Baha, and Farm Superstores went nearly limit up.
Company Prices
On the other hand, NADEC declined 4% to SAR 27.90, with about 2.6 million shares traded.
The board recommended a capital increase through a SAR 2 billion rights issue.
