TASI slips 0.2% to 11,516 pts, traded value at SAR 9.3 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed the week on a negative note, edging down 0.2%, or 17 points, to 11,516 points today, June 15. Traded value reached almost SAR 9.3 billion.
Global index provider FTSE Russell will implement today the changes announced under its quarterly index review in May. These changes will take effect from June 19.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco shed nearly 1% to SAR 32.50 after more than eight million shares changed hands.
SADAFCO lost 6% to SAR 339 although the company announced profits of SAR 92.1 million for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023.
BCI closed 2% lower at SAR 39.05, trading ex-dividend.
Alinma Tokio Marine ended 10% down at SAR 15.96 as nearly 3.3 million shares were traded. The company entered into a binding merger agreement with Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co.
Shams plunged 10% to SAR 0.94 amid active trading on around 323 million shares.
