TASI drops 0.9 % to below 11,400, turnover at SAR 5.7 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.9%, or 103 points, to 11,376 points today, Aug. 3, the lowest close in about two months.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.7 billion.
The index is down for the sixth consecutive session, losing about 530 points.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank declined 1% to SAR 71.40 and SAR 37.25, respectively.
Shares of Banque Saudi Fransi, Maaden, Elm, Sipchem, SAB, Bank Albilad, ACWA Power, Maharah, Makkah Construction and Savola slipped between 2% and 5%.
MARAFIQ and Bawan fell to SAR 75.80 (-2%) and SAR 33.90 (-3%), respectively, after Q2 2023 financials were announced.

On the other hand, Saudi Steel Pipe went almost limit up to close at SAR 28.35 million after disclosing Q2 2023 results.
Americana closed at SAR 4.23 (+7%), with about 72 million shares traded. The company’s Q2 2023 profit rose 76% year-on-year.
Astra Industrial rose 2% to close at SAR 88.70.
