TASI falls 0.6% to 11,036 points, turnover at SAR 5.6 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 0.6%, or 68 points, to 11,036 points today, Sept. 18, recording the lowest close since June.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.6 billion.
The index has recorded losses of more than 450 points since the beginning of September.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank fell more than 1% to SAR 69.60 amid trading of nearly 5.1 million shares.
Saudi National Bank, stc, SABIC, Alinma Bank, Sulaiman Al Habib, MARAFIQ, Jabal Omar, Bank Albilad, Americana and Seera declined between 1% and 3%.
Walaa Insurance went limit down to SAR 17.14 amid trading of about 3.4 million shares. The company board recommended increasing the insurer’s capital through a SAR 425 million rights offering.
Amiantit fell 6% to SAR 44.70 after the company said Zakat claim reconsideration request was rejected.
