TASI falls 1.1% to 10,840 points, turnover at SAR 6.3 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 1.1%, or 112 points, to 10,840 points today, Oct. 4, recording the lowest close since April 2023.

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.3 billion.

Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank declined 1%.

Elm, MIS, solutions, Etihad Etisalat, Budget Saudi, Lumi, Care, Sulaiman Al Habib, Saudi Electricity and Alujain fell between 3% and 5%.

Fitness Time dropped 6% to SAR 140.40.

On the other hand, Riyadh Cables rose 2% to SAR 71.30 amid trading of about 880,000 shares. The company’s board of directors declared a 10% cash dividend, or SAR 1 a share, for the first half of 2023.

Alinma Tokyo was the top gainer, rising 4% to SAR 15.80.
