TASI drops 1.9% to below 10,300 points, turnover at SAR 4.8 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.9%, or 203 points, lower at 10,293 points today, Oct. 23.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.8 billion.
Market Index
Majority of shares fell, led by Al Rajhi Bank declining nearly 1% to SAR 63.50. The lender’s third-quarter net profit declined 5% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 4.15 billion.
SABIC, Saudi National Bank, SABIC Agri-Nutrients, Saudi Kayan, Tadawul Group, and Sipchem slipped between 1% and 6%.
Yansab edged down 3% after the company announced losses of about SAR 161.3 million in the third quarter of 2023.
