Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.9%, or 107 points, higher at 12,110 points today, Jan. 22.

 

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 9.4 billion.

Market Index

Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank rose 2% to SAR 86.80 and SAR 43.15, respectively.
 
Alhokair Group went nearly limit up to SAR 2.76, with about 26 million shares traded. The company was awarded a SAR 760 million contract by Alpha Facilities Contracting Co., an affiliate of Al Fanar Group, to provide catering services at a residential complex in NEOM.
 
SABIC rose 1% to SAR 78.20.
 
MBC Group recorded the highest closing since its listing at SAR 79.90 (+9.9%).
 
Alujain closed at SAR 44.85 (+5%), with about 5.1 million shares changing hands.
