TASI declines 1.6% to 11,797 turnover at SAR 8.7B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.6%, or 189 points, lower at 11,797 points today, Jan. 31.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 8.7 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank declined 5% to SAR 84, with about nine million shares worth more than SAR 760 million changing hands. The lender’s Q4 2023 net profit fell 5% year-on-year to SAR 4.17 billion.
ADES and Arabian Drilling dropped almost 10% each to close at SAR 19.96 and SAR 167.80, respectively.
Saudi Aramco slipped 2% to SAR 30.70, with about 21 million shares traded.
Riyadh Cement declined 4% to SAR 28.90 after the company announced the direct financial impact of the recent fuel price hike on production costs.
