TASI rises 0.3% to cross 12,800 points, turnover at SAR 10B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.3% higher, or 32 points, at 12,804 points today, March 19, recording the highest close since June 2022.

 

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 10 billion.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco rose 1% to SAR 31.40.

 

ACWA Power, Jabal Omar, Tawuniya, SRMG, Mouwasat, Alandalus, NCLE, and Alhokair Group increased between 1% and 4%.

 

Leejam gained 8% to SAR 243, recording the highest close since its market debut, following the announcement of Q4 2023 results and cash dividends.

 

Chubb was the top gainer, rising 9%.

On the other hand, Alkhorayef fell 9% to SAR 236.80, amid trading of more than 330,000 shares. The company’s Q4 2023 results came below market estimates.

 

Baazeem and Al Hammadi declined to SAR 76.20 (-2%) and SAR 64.90 (-3%), respectively, following the announcement of Q4 2023 results.

 

Arabian Drilling closed at SAR 180.40 (-1%) after going ex-dividend.
