TASI falls 0.1% to 12,509 points, total turnover at SAR 8.9B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.1%, or 9 points, to close at 12,509 points today, April 22.

Total turnover reached about SAR 8.9 billion.

Al Rajhi Bank declined 1% to SAR 78.60.

Riyadh Cables closed at SAR 94.10 (-3%) after going ex-dividend.

Saudi Cable and Alkhaleej Training were top decliners, falling 5% to SAR 75 and SAR 31.50, respectively.

SABIC AN closed at SAR 110.80 (-3%), hitting a nearly three-year low. Almost one million shares traded. The stock is down about 20% since the beginning of 2024.

On the other hand, Saudi Aramco rose less than 1% to SAR 30.15 with about 12 million shares changing hands.

Care gained 2% to SAR 191.20 after announcing a 20% cash dividend for 2023.

Al Rajhi Takaful, LIVA and Gulf General were top gainers, rising between 9% and 10%.

ACWA Power closed at an all-time high of SAR 457.40 (+2%). The stock rose nearly 80% since the beginning of the year.
