TASI rises 0.3% to 11,697 points, total turnover at SAR 6.2B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.3%, or 37 points, to close at 11,697 points today, May 29.

Total turnover reached about SAR 6.2 billion.

Saudi National Bank rose 6% to SAR 34.90. More than 10 million shares were traded worth SAR 360 million.

Bahri, Riyad Bank, Tasnee, BSF, SADAFCO, Bank AlJazira and SAIB increased between 2% and 4%.

Bupa Arabia edged up 1% to SAR 230 after the company announced a cash dividend.

On the other hand, Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank fell less than 1% to SAR 29.05 and SAR 77.20, respectively.

Zoujaj declined 4% to SAR 41.05 after shareholders rejected reducing the stock’s par value from SAR 10 to SAR 1.
